Evidence before a claim
Use current primary sources for product features, admission rules, eligibility and other changeable facts. Distinguish confirmed information from interpretation and uncertainty. A source link should support the specific statement associated with it.
Practical value
A guide should help a reader complete a real task or make a better-informed choice. Avoid copied summaries, padded lists, empty geographic directories and large numbers of near-identical articles. Publish a category only when it has useful content.
Dates and revisions
Publication dates describe the first publication of a page. Modification dates should change only when its content changes meaningfully. Time-sensitive terms should be checked again before relying on them.
Commercial independence
Commercial compensation must be disclosed. Recommendations should reflect a stated user need and evidence, rather than the highest-paying advertiser. High-stakes health, legal, financial and safety topics require additional scrutiny before publication.
